eingetragenes Warenzeichen

The term eingetragenes Warenzeichen, abbreviated eingetr. Warenzeichen or eingetr. Warenz. or simply Warenzeichen, states that the name it refers to is a registered trademark. As such, the legal protection covers overall appearance, e.g. its meaning, spelling or graphic representation. The classification eingetragenes Warenzeichen is a successor of the earlier used Schutzmarke.

A good example of the use of this term can be seen in Mitterteich AG's statement that "Porzeton" was their registered trademark, as evidenced by the text "Mitterteich AG - Porzeton - eingetr. Warenz." on the base of corresponding items.
